Andy Griffith

The Barbed Wire pays homage to ole Andy Griffith.  American as apple pie, mom, and deep fried anything.  Only thing he was missing was that he was not Texan.  But, he made Texans happy, so we honor him for that. 

Were it not for Andy Griffith, we would not have had Ron Howard.  Without whom, we would not have Bryce Dallas Howard.  Without whom, we would have had somebody else in "The Village," which is a most underrated movie. 

Were it not for Andy Griffith, I would not have had anything to do one cold rainy Saturday in college.  Which coincides with without Andy Griffith, Nick At Night and TVland would be more like Nick Night or T--and. 

Were it not for Andy Griffith...no Gomer Pyle (and the world would be completely neutral about it).
